Producer: Duckhorn Vineyards
Where I picked it up: California food and wine retailer, Raley's
From the renowned California producer, Duckhorn, comes a second label - Decoy - meant to be an "everyday wine for the well-informed". A mosaic of scents compile this weekday winner: white peach, yellow apple, citrus, butter, coconut, vanilla and cream. It's full and persistent with a supportive acidity. This dry white pairs beautifully with the likes of butternut squash crumble, lobster, roasted chicken and grilled mushrooms.
